NHL Player Cards
Card Explanation:
All attributes are weighted based on the past 3 seasons, with the most recent season being weighted the most.
Each ranking section has the player's ranking for that attribute (the largest number), the total number of players that qualify for that attribute (the smallest number), and a percentile bar showing the percentage of players that the selected player ranks above in that attribute.
To qualify for rankings, a player must have played at least 25% of games in the season.
- 5v5 Offense - How well a player performs offensively at 5-on-5 (even strength) play. Adjusted to a per 60-minute rate.
- 5v5 Defense - How well a player performs defensively at 5-on-5 (even strength) play. Adjusted to a per 60-minute rate.
- 5v4 Offense - How well a player performs offensively at 5-on-4 play (power play). Adjusted to a per 60-minute rate. To qualify, a player must have played over 45 seconds of the 5v4 time per total games in the season.
- 4v5 Defense - How well a player performs defensively at 4-on-5 play (penalty kill). Adjusted to a per 60-minute rate. To qualify, a player must have played over 45 seconds of the 4v5 time per total games in the season.
- On-Ice Offense - How well a player's team performs offensively at 5-on-5 when the player is on the ice. Adjusted to a per 60-minute rate.
- On-Ice Defense - How well a player's team performs defensively at 5-on-5 when the player is on the ice. Adjusted to a per 60-minute rate.
- Shooting - How proficient a player is at shooting the puck in all situations. Adjusted to a per 60-minute rate.
- Scoring - How proficient a player is at scoring in all situations. Adjusted to a per 60-minute rate.
- Playmaking - How proficient a player is at earning assists in all situations. Adjusted to a per 60-minute rate.
- O-Zone Starts - How often a player's shift starts in the offensive zone at 5-on-5. Adjusted to a per 60-minute rate.
- Penalties - How proficient a player is at drawing penalties compared to taking penalties in all situations. Adjusted to a per 60-minute rate.
- Physicality - How proficient a player is at hitting in all situations. Adjusted to a per 60-minute rate.
- Faceoffs - How proficient a player is at winning faceoffs in all situations. Adjusted to a per 60-minute rate. To qualify, a player must have taken at least 3 faceoffs per total games in the season.
- Fantasy - How well a player earns points in a typical fantasy league. Adjusted to a per-game rate.
